Knit & Natter

Or is it crochet & chatter?

Ayesha and Adri at the kitchen table. Colette was there too but left before I remembered to take a pic.

It was really cool to try and teach something like this and to work together. The coffee and cake helped too – Adri’s meringue roll cake! Colette already had the basics and Ayesha was so quick on the uptake – very relieved teacher. I did feel a bit nervous this morning as I remembered primary school needlework classes and how I hated (and feared) those needlework teachers! I think I was too much of a perfectionist as a 11-year-old and set my standards way too high. Now it’s just for fun, to relax and to be creative – 3 things that was definitely not part of the curriculum way back when!

Ayesha’s very first granny square! Whoo-hoo!
